What brand jump start batteries are y'all using? I like to keep one charged up in the boat in case my cranking battery dies. I had a cheap Chinese one that only lasted about 2 years before it died completely. I'm looking at a WeeGo or a Noco. Opinions?

just run pair of battery cables from the end one of your tm batteries to your start battery,
(the one that provides the negative for 24 or 36) pos and neg. put a plastic cut off switch inline on the positive one.. when you need a jump you turn the switch.

NOCO GB40.. Had a guy who needed a jump a squaw creek. He was in a Dodge 250 and it jumped him off with no problems.

Viking at Harbor Freight has good reviews on Youtube. I have one but have not had to use it.

I have the Viking from Harbor Freight and have used it successfully to start my car a couple times (left lights on for about 45 minutes with an old car battery)

I tried it on the boat once to jump the cranking battery without success (how I learned the boat came with a single bank chargerthought it was dual bank). probably user error, but my boat cranking battery was severely drained (wouldnt jump off the trolling motor battery either)

Battery was so drained that I had to use the trolling motor battery to get the power trim to raise the motor back up at the ramp

Had a gift card and a coupon to Academy so I picked up the Noco Genius GB40. Thanks for the suggestions!

Jumpbox Pro V8 1000. It sits next to the jumper cables that I'll never stop carrying.
