Had a lot of fun Sun, Mon. and Tues. Fished shallow with a bobber and my stink bait. Caught 75 total in five different outings app. one hour each at the same spot behind the pump station - all good fish. They seem to be spawning.

I threw out some range cubes the first time out but nothing the other four times. I have a small boat and ran it up into the buck brush next to the shore, and cast out from boat in water 3 to 4 ft. deep and let it drift back toward the boat. Bobber set about 2 ft. above the hook. Fun to catch them this way - almost like bass fishing except you catch them instead of chase them.

Thanks for the tip. my dad and I were going to try and go this weekend and that's the method we use too with the cubes. Hoping to get dad on some fish.

I was actually fishing in the cove directly on the south side of the pump station in No-Name Creek. I caught bigger fish in the mornings but more in the afternoons. Good luck.

I caught 51 catfish Monday and tuesday in 20 feet deep water. The fish are really biting well. I did put a bobber on a pole but one pole works better for me. Never a good multitasker.
