 PK did us pretty good Sunday

It was good fishing out there Sunday, but with 2 gates open and seen the mud line almost to where you was fishing who knows now.

It was good fishing out there Sunday, but with 2 gates open and seen the mud line almost to where you was fishing who knows now. Yes sir I like to stay on the South end. I don't venture too far north that much. I'm addicted to that clear water!

Is there still any clear water left @ PK? Granbury is a mud hole from end to end. Granbury�s �mudline� is about half way through Whitney! Whitney is 12-1/2� above full and rising fast. The BRA that manages Granbury & PK releases every drop that comes into each lake with very little fluctuation in the lake level and neither are ever allowed to reach full pool so that mudline usually progresses fast. PK was on a short list for fishing Friday. Interested if it still has any clear water left?

We actually fished farther north than we normally do to try and get out of the wind and it was still pretty clear but around the island and north it's chocolate milk

We were out there all weekend and Saturday morning ended up pretty good. We caught 8 in 2 hours with my buddy catching the best one at 8lbs. All the rest were around 3-4 lbs. The water was pretty clear
the farther south you went. We had the most luck on the points behind bass island working a NED rig in the brush.

They didn't open the gates until 1am sat morning so sunday wouldn't have seen that much difference, but this weekend most likely will. They said they are considering closing 1 gate as of tues eve but doubt it with the round of rain that came through wed morning.
Stinks. was hoping to get a few more weekends in up there before ooowater season begins.

Had planned to fish PK this week as I have never been there. Weather changed my plans. Thank you! The weather shouldn't be an issue unless you plan on hitting it Saturday. Saturday is a 90% chance and any other day from now to sunday is only at like 10%
