Have a good friend that is at Falcon right now and has been for several weeks. He is a very good fisherman who lives on Lake Fork. He told me yesterday that the fishing at Falcon right now is only fair at best and fish have been hard to come by. I would never try to discourage anyone from fishing Falcon but it is a long trip and probably one I wouldn't make right now. My choice would be either Toledo Bend or Sam Reuburn or maybe both since they are close together.

Good fishermen that are out there busting it are catching some good numbers with a few nice fish mixed in.. I am not sure what you consider a big fish, but I think a five or six pounder is a big fish.

Five or six a day.. Maybe not.. But it is possible.

The trip you described is what I wish for every time I go out, but rarely achieve.. If you decide to come to Falcon, stop by the store and I'll try and help shortcut you to your goal..

Good luck! wherever you go!
