Yeah. Like the one that about ran over us Sunday on Ray Hubbard. Last minute turn over our bow at high speed. Bass boat.

I'm glad it was not a younger person that did that, they would have gotten a lot more grief over that move.

Great to see Brandon win. He and Shane LeHew were staying in a cabin next to mine and I had the opportunity to meet both of these guys. A couple of the nicest most sincere individuals I have ever met. Very humble and seemed to be very happy to be in the moment at Lake Fork. For those of you who do not know Shane take a look at his epic "Pete Rose" mud slide pictures on the Bassmaster Texas Fest web site. Congratulations to Brandon on the win and to Shane for raising money for Autism Awareness!

Yup they are the best swimbaits in my opinion

I've enjoyed a unique relationship with Jeff, after I retired from the service in 13 he opened the door for me to make my own baits to fish on Tyler. They were crossing over to swimbaits and he offered to teach me how to pour worms from the molds he still had so I took him up on it. Something he said to me the first time I visited that has held true over the years, grow a set of gills and stay true to your self. Now I make at least one trip a year to spend time with him and make baits, catch up on industry gossip (he talks a mile a minute) and work together a rarity these days. I'm looking forward to his book, I read a chapter of the rough draft some pretty interesting stuff.

Brandon used a Fringe Tackle 7" AYU early he got from his travel partner Shane LeHew the night before the first day, his problem was he only got 2.
