I generally like chatterbaits... I don't catch great numbers on them, but feel like they produce quality fish. I thought the shudderbait would throw off more vibration and result in a better bite.

Well, I have fished it several times in various situations with no luck. Maybe I hit it on bad days? Maybe my presentation is wrong? Maybe it throws off too much vibration?

Whatever the case, I'm curious if y'all have had any luck with one?

For me its wrong time of year. I can only catch them on it during prespawn.

Good to know. However, I threw them pre and post spawn... and not even one hit.

Oh well, I'll jack around with them again in the fall and then decide if they hit the cull bucket.

I caught a 6 lber on one at Welsh back in January. Really havent used one since then.
