Yes we were dodging the lightning on LL today a little. Had the inner-tube on back just in case the fish were not willing to cooperate today. So we did a little tubing and then headed over to the 121 cut around 6:30. No boats there but we had seen some earlier so we decided to give it a try. The bait was Little George, XPS tail spinner and Hum-Bugs. The color chartreuse and white. And yes they all produced about the same. What did they produce well in less than an hour we landed over 20 highbreads. All released to fight another day except the littlest one that went 19 inches because we gill hooked him. I personally have never had a day like today and I must say I have completely ruined 3 boys in age from 10 to 12 on fishing LL. How do you go out and top a day when even the littlest fish takes 3 min to just get in to a net. LOL yes I thank the fish gods today for the best Big Fish day I have ever had on LL.

It was a Hybrid day we landed as many big fish as we did whites. The kids had a great time but now I need to go get more lures. I must get heavier equepment. LOL

hi fishing with kids, i was out in the cut with you yesterday with a family from my church that are close friends of mine. we were in the center console "striper" boat. we caught many hybrids too on live bait. we were enjoying catching fish and enjoying watching and hearing you catch fish too. i will come over and say hi the next time i see you. we left before you. it was pretty dark when we left. did you stay much longer?

Big Daddy Craft I sure like your boat! We stayed just a little longer with no luck after the sun went down. Man was that great or what yesterday. I have seen you around the lake and it would be a pleasure to meet you. When it gets hotter you are going to have to show me how to catch those footballs with live bait. Look forward to meeting you.
