I've always thought Mercer was good. It's a bass tournament weigh in and hard to keep things moving along but he does it fine. There is only so much any of them can do with the subject matter.

I'm sure he's probably a very nice guy but I haven't liked his shtick from the beginning, I liked the guy before him better and people hated elvis

It wouldn't matter who they get. Someone would be on here complaining. Those of you "judging" wouldn't be happy with anyone that would take on that thankless task. Do a bit of research about the man. About his family. His foundation. His history. Youngest man ever to be inducted into the Canadian Freshwater Fishing HOF. And that was years after he began hosting a top rated, nationally aired fishing show. Dave Mercer is as good a person as they come. And he's a dear friend to Allie and me. So forgive me. If any of you spent ten minutes 1-on-1 with Mercer, you'd love him, too! The 'schtick' is exactly what his employers and sponsors want. Dude can fish a little, too.
