No...I was reading a section in their website about certification. It seems the scales are certified thru that International Carp Assoc. It does say in short...acceptance of certification may vary from State to State. I'd give them a call myself. When you get the right info..then call TPWD to see if they will accept the type /class of scale and certification. You may want to check into making your residence a TPWD Official Weigh Station. The only cost to you is buying an expensive Class lll Legal for Trade scale. TPWD requires the scale to be certified once a year. Weight capacity is up to you. BTW: My weigh station DOES NOT CHARGE the public for services rendered.
