Just curious, why is this tournament a month earlier than it was last year? I think it started out in June, last year in May...and now April. Would the fishing be better in April? Thanks

the tournament in june was fun to do but alot of people whined that it was too hot so they moved it to may and it was ok not sure why they changed it to april the warmer the weather the better it is for channels so not sure why they moved it up .
The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

In the past there was 2 separate catfish tournaments annually at Fork. One was the first week of May and the other was later in the summer. BASSMASTERS Elite has a tournament on Fork the first week in May this year so they moved it back a week to the last weekend in April.

Just seen this post on my monthly TFF fix  We did well this year the kids racked up $3250 my little 5 lbers I was catching didn't do anything  Sam it was Bbq this year and I try and take it easy at the fundraiser events
