Where are you guys/girls mounting your garmin livescope module?

Going in an 18 Skeeter ZX250. Transducer I’ll have on the troller head just curious where guys are mounting the control module

If you have an ultrex you really don't want to mount the transducer on the trolling motor. It will always be changing up where you are looking.

David over at Shut up and Fish has the best idea on mounting the ducer, in fact Garmin likes his idea so much they want to patten his idea.

I put mine in the compartment on the right front and ran the wires . I mounted it to the outside. I can get some pictures maybe tomorrow.

I mounted my Panoptix module in driver side rod box up toward the front on inside edge toward center box. This is in a Skeeter 2018 ZX200. My transducer is on the shaft of my Ultrex and I dont mind it being there works great.

Think of live scope as a periscope, you are going to want to control where it's looking. If you mount the ducer to a trolling motor with spot lock, the live scope screen is going to be continually changing views, every time the trolling motor changes direction.

Sorry, did not mean to stir it up, just do some research or go out with someone who has one mounted. It's a game changer, it's not panoptix, but people are learning the hard way what is best.

I put mine in the Starboard rod box, towards the front & transducer on the trolling motor. All works great.

If you decide you want to mount the transducer separate from the trolling motor, check out the mount at thebassboatladder.com.

Thanks all for the replies! My biggest hurdle is just the module box, anyone know of the floor is thick enough to screw it here without going through hull?
This is the front right storage box

I mounted my GLS10 and my GVC20 on a piece of 3/4' plywood and just have it laying in the port side rod locker toward the very front.
