Friend has above boat. Has 90 horse Tracker/Mercury motor. When we tried to speed up the boat leans to left and pulls bad. It does have a hydrofoil on it. We moved the trim tab to the right once and then centered it and neither helped or made a difference. Any ideas to straighten it out?

Is there a lot more weight on one side of the boat?

Nope pretty basic boat, not that large. Bud filled it with gas about 15 gallons and gear is stowed pretty evenly side to side. New boat to him so don't know how it is supposed to handle or if it did it before. His first time on water with it. It will lean to left so hard it feels like the passenger will be thrown out. Does it without passenger also. Think next time we will try with out the hydrofoil. I have a similar boat and mine doesn't act like this at all.

Skeg looks ok from what I remember. No we didn't trim it up while accelerating. It showed up pretty quick after speeding up. It was pretty windy yesterday. Comparing to my boat might not be a good idea but I can go wot without trimming any. We aren't going very fast when it starts leaning left. I'll take a better look at skeg. Thanks for the help guys.

It's just prop torque Trim it out and the torque will reverse. The whale tail thingy isn't helping either. No real fix, just go fishing.

I've had a similar boat for about 5 years. I can open mine up wot without trimming up. I can trim it up and gain speed and rpm's. When I started opening his up it about threw him out of the passenger seat. When I steered to compensate the steering got real squirrelly. Hard to keep it straight. Don't think we ever got to half throttle. Will try with the hydrofoil off. Maybe it's normal for this hull?

Always trim it out!! normal for alot of boats to feel like they are rolling over on the holeshot, as the prop takes a bite it forces the nose down. trim it!!

Floor it and trim up to get to speed.

Ok thanks guys for the info. Next time out we'll work on learning how to drive it. Try a little calmer day also. It has no problem getting out of the hole. Maybe I should take the whale tail off?

Thought I would update. Took boat out on calmer day and trimmed up a little while accelerating and boat evened out. Easy to tell when sweet spot was hit. Feel a little foolish.
