We will be going to Matagorda the first week of June and I'm looking for guide recommendations please. Can't help with a guide but if you have time you might try the surf. We just came back Sunday after fishing 2 1/2 days we caught 31 slot reds and 3 oversize plus 1 3'shark, all on cut mullet.

Here's one that me and a buddy used before Run-N-GunI've been with them once and did really well on trout. Limit in 3 hours.

We are going to hit up tomorrow, was going to go to Sunday, but found out our daughter has a sports banquet Sunday at 12:30. We will get there at 8am, grab some shrimp & mullet and see what happens. Weather looks like calm water.
