Last weekend went and got the last Livescope in DFW at the Cabelas in Allen. After calling everyone around I could find and every being sold out and no ETA on getting more, I found the Allen Cabelas had 3. By the time I got there, one was already sold. I got one and a buddy got the last one the following day. Also got the Garmin 93SV to go with it. Hooked the 93SV up last night, hooking the livescope up tonight and going out in the morning to give it a try. I have been so anxious to try it out. Going to Lewisville and try around the pillars unless we cant find any fish there.

Hope you got the 93sv PLUS. I found out the hard way that the CHIRP 93sv doesn't work with the panoptics livescope! Your going to love it!!!

Panoptix, Livescope is Garmin. Lowrance is coming out with livesight which is from what I've seen close to Panoptix.

I"m sure there's a technical spec somewhere; but on mine, it seems like about a 10-15 degree slice forward(look ahead) and backwards (under the transducer, and a little behind it). Having it on a rotating shaft helps you pan around.

One 10-pounder is better than ten 1-pounders; but 100 1-pounders is ok too!

Does the transducer come with those or do you have to purchase separately? I seem to recall when they first came out that they did not come with the unit.

For $1500 you get the LVS 32 transducer and the GLS 10 black box. You still need a compatible MFD to run the system.
