When is the no info rule on Cedar Creek.

I see a post on the website saying it starts Saturday....but which Saturday would be helpful.

Yesterday I believe, just as the rules have always stated which is two weeks prior.

So I fished yesterday (during and after BassChamps).....how can receiving information be avoided?

I totally get your concern and realistically it�s about impossible, especially considering how many of the boat captains fish other tournaments. I think a more defined definition is needed but that�s just my opinion. �Seeking, bartering�, I get. �Receiving� is pretty open to interpretation.

Public information (reading posts on forums) is not a violation.

I realize that most tournament trails have the public information clause relating to forums and social media like you explained. However, I can't find that addressed in the THSBA rules anywhere. Is that in the rules and I just missed it? Or was this a clarification you received from one of the officials? I'm not trying to be argumentative, I have asked this question of several people and they just shrug their shoulders.

If the information gathered is off the TFF in a Open post it is fine, as long as you are the not the one to start the thread or ask for the information.

If you start trading PM�s or other private conversations that�s where the issues come in.
