Fellas, I am looking for some feedback. I was at Fork two Sunday's ago and my auto bilge kicked on. It did this repeatedly throughout the day. The drain plug was inserted! When I got back to Oak Ridge and put her on the trailer and unscrewed the drain plug I had enough water to fill Sea World's Aquarium. I have had some water come in before but that just required removing the splash well plate and putting some new silicone on it. Please provide some troubleshooting tips because at $100.00 per hour shop labor I tend to try and fix things myself. I sincerely appreciate TFF!

Let the boat dry out in the hull put the plug back in and put the water hose to the inside. Not enough to swamp the charger or jack plate pump look for a exit leak.

Thanks bayshorebrawler. I was just going to leave it hooked onto the trailer and back her down on a private ramp. I never thought about putting water in her from the inside.

Check all your connections to hoses for livewell, pump out, and bilge to make sure you haven't cracked a fitting. Some leaks can be really hard to find without the pressure of the hull in the water. If its filling fast enough to make the auto bilge come on several times, it shouldn't be too hard to find.

I have a 2011 z20 that take on water....I can not find any where it is coming in... I redone the circle in the back access point.... I have disconnected the speed and water pressure gauges.....I have took out the seats.. i have filled the live wells with water and the bilge area with water. I have found nothing.... the water appears at the drivers feet and runs to the center drain... I have had the boat lifted off the trailer and checked the bottom of the boat and found nothing.
I have changed out the live well pumps along with the bilge pumps, the water keeps coming. I added to the cooler drain hose. nothing found have not stopped the water...ready to pull my hair out.

If you find something different please let me know what you find. Love the boat and the way she handles, hate the water in the bottom of the boat.
Tommy

I got $$ that it is livewell related. Pump, hose, or fitting.

My rig started having water in the bilge after each use and never had the issue in the 2 years prior owning it. Found that the speedometer hose had a hole rubbed through it inside the rigging tube between the motor and the transom.

I had the same problem with my Ranger. Checked everything but could not find the problem. Finally figured out that the seal between the top and lower cap had been broken at the rear of the boat. I didn't think that much water could come in from that area but that was the problem. Once I resealed that area I didn't have another leaking problem.

Live well drain tube fitting at transom or ice chest is my guess,
