Switched to sun line sniper or shooter depending on technique. With the right lbs etc.. and the Paloma’s knot being tied correct, no overhand on a eyelet it’s works awesome for me. JMO.

Bass Pro XPS brand. It is around $20-$25 per spool depending on what pound test you go with but I stock up during their sales for 33% off. It is in a purple/yellow box

I’m beginning to sour on Red Label. Just so brittle and kinks up so easy and coils up bad too.

I use sunline SF and red label.... never a problem with either of them..... sunline is stout! 14 lb and up I almost have to use the trolling motor to break off if I get hung up.... straightens out the hook most of the time

I use Tatsu. I justify the cost because I am 100% braid to leader on everything. A spool lasts a long time that way.

I like Seaguar and Trilene 100% fluoro pro grade. I have a couple of spools of Sniper and it's good line but it has a much smaller diameter and I think that is a lot more important than what the lb test rating printed on the spool says. I can flip bushes with Berkley 100% fluoro and not worry but if I spool up sniper 20# for flipping I'm going to break off often. 20# sunline is closer in diameter to Berkley 15#, and Seaguar is kind if somewhere in between the two (depending on which model: red label, invizX etc).

I've used Berkley 100% quite q bit and still have some but like InvisX better. No complaints at all with it. Bulk spools via Walmart online.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.
