The TTO sounds like a first class operation. That's great to hear how they take care of the fish. As we all know some of them are on their last breath coming into weigh in so having time to get their strength back sure adds to the overall survival rate. Good stuff....

I have heard nothing but good things about TTO, looks like it was a hell of a day for many fishermen, I wish Looserville would have fished like that, at least for us.

Don't think I would have had any problem driving those 13 hours after the impressive win you had. Congrats.

I heard they load them up and take them to fork. 😉

Marked some fish we shook off Friday. Went to them Saturday morning. First one hooked was 5.5-6 and jumped off just out of net reach. Caught two keepers in the same area. Moved around a bit and filled out the limit flipping and sight fishing. Went back to where we lost the good one first thing thinking she may be back on the bed and catchable. No dice. Weighed 17 and change. Thought that may squeak into check range but not quite. That first fish we lost would have done it. On to the next one. TTO runs a first class trail.

Did I see the numbers correctly that there were 110+ teams and first place was only 4K? I expected to see higher payouts on a bigger tournament like that. Ive never fished a TTO, just curious.

I actually caught a fish I shook off in practice for the first time Saturday and it was in Sand Branch of all places. Had to have been at least 20 boats fish past this fish where it was.

Pays too many places IMO. Some people like it that way though.
Also the winners weren't in the optional side pot.

Did you happen to see what the payouts were after 1st place?

1. 4500
2. 3840
3. 2530
4. 1790
5. 1450
6. 1170
7. 1005

1 in 5 is to many places? Thats pretty much the standard all around the nation. Im going to use Wawi speak here and say its shameful to fish a well run event, take a top 4, then come on the internet and criticize. You jackpotted the tournament, if you dont like it dont fish next year, but no need in talking that kind of noise on here about a trail that did everything right. Yes it sucks to weigh over 27 lbs and not make the top 3, dont point that frustration at the trail..

Milkfisher, there are two entry fee options with TTO. Regular and regular plus a 100% payback sidepot that pays 1 in 5. Only trail around I know of that gives those options..

Get your damn panties out of a bunch. I wasn't even complaining. IN MY OPINION, it pays too many places. Is it so wrong to have an opinion. Jesus how did you become a moderator if you fly off the handle that easy.

And I jackpot tournaments on Ray Roberts because I work 6 days a week, every week. All my pre fishing happens after work. I don't get off work until 6. So I have 2 1/2 hours to fish in the evenings. It is impossible for me to fish a trail effectively although I would love to do so. TTO would probably be one of the trails I would fish if I could, even having the opinion that it pays too many places.

Champs doesn't pay 1 in 5
TTT doesn't pay 1 in 5
