Im having problems with my simrad 7 with total scan transducer. Im not getting clear images. I need someone to walk me through the settings. Simrad says I need to move transducer to left side instead of right side. Boarding ladder is on left side which scares me. Since prop spins to the right would it cause problems even at idle speeds. I can post pictures if necessary.

Man it looks close to that rear ratchet strap! It should work fine over there, youre low enough to not have any blockage. I suppose you might have some lower unit blockage if your motor is tucked in all the way.

Any pics of the bad images? Are they fuzzy or whats the problem?
