With the wind we received yesterday and most of springtime here in Texas, I make sure to build fences to withstand them. 8ft. privacy fence with heavy gauge metal poles every 4ft. Some guys said I overbuilt it but after being out there yesterday installing sod, it needed the extra support. Wind was brutal, would hate to be a trucker trying to stay between the lines.

Wow. Yeah, most fences that I see built have 6 or 8 foot spacing between poles. Looks solid!

I need 300 feet of fence done. That would bankrupt me.

We had a new fence installed in 2013, metal posts were a must. The original had cedar posts and they rotted at ground level in 15 years

Having maintained/replaced my fence over the last 30+ years I certainly appreciate a good fence, and that is a good fence sir!

Nice fence, I used to like privacy fences and guess I still do in some cases like houses crammed together in a heathenish, prison housing type way but that looks like proper sized yard with proper country around it, I'd have done top rail horse fence or decorative metal unless I could see a trailer anywhere in the distance

Looks really good. See new home additions with the fences falling down almost before the lawn is established. Need a good fence for hot tub parties.
