A couple thousand years ago God humbled himself so much for me that he made himself man and paid the ultimate sacrifice by allowing himself to be beaten, hang on a cross and die somewhere between 9:00am and 3:00pm on “Good Friday” in Jerusalem as payment for all my sins. Remember and give thanks for that today!

Somber day but joyous at the same time. That time between 12 and 3 when darkness covered the earth is surreal to me to think about.
