hey,

I seem to have air or something going on in my tilt trim. The boat was parked for two months and when i took it out, the tilt trim sounded horrible just as we were leaving the lake. Had a hard time trimming up. Do any of yall have or can point me to a good video or explanation of how to add fluid and bled the system?

Go home at the end of your shift, no matter the cost!

Probably would be better to replace the leaking seals.

Have you checked the fluid level?

Its funny you say this because my 05 yamaha 225 just did something similar. Must be the temp change. I jacked it all the way up and took the reservoir cap off and it blew alot of air out of the reservoir. I tried adding fluid but it was full. Been good every since. Just make sure you have the motor tilted all the way up before you remove that cap. Thats where the fluid is stored when the motor is down.

if it needs bleeding its super easy to bleed it off. jack the motor all the way up as far as it will go and then loosen the release screw on the left hand side and let the motor go all the way down until it completely stops. go all the way back up and refill the reservoir. do that a couple of times.

Hope that helps.
