Just watched a very good video from Fox Sports and Outdoors over crappie fishing in open water at Lake Fork. Excellent tips with about three good graft shots showing what to look for. I sure learned some things and hope it helps others. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pHkC4kywMTk

Barry is a great teacher and shares alot of tips, and details.. not an all sizzle and no steak kind of guy,, He really goes out of his way to promote the sport of fishing, and not himself. always loved his vids. ! 
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

If you know the lake well and have common sense you can pinpoint within 50 yards of where he is fishing.

That type of fishing is certainly not easy. Even with a graph how do you tell the difference between crappie and sand bass. Fork has a ton of both. I do like Barry alot because he is a down to earth dude.

If you know the lake well and have common sense you can pinpoint within 50 yards of where he is fishing. Only potlickers try to figure out where he is at. Listen and learn and you can go all over the lake and do this technique. And yes I will say it is pretty easy doing what he is doing. May not always get the results your wishing for. Crappie fishing in general is not really that hard
