Hello TFF Bass Anglers, Lake Fork is fishing quite well right now as many fish have made their way up onto the shallow water spawning flats in 1-4' of water on the more stained north end of the lake. You can expect to find many fish on beds and biting weightless Senkos and Flukes. On sunny days with little wind the sight fishing is at its best in some areas right now. On the south 1/2 end of the lake expect to find more prespawn fishing patterns like throwing a jerkbait in the cleaner water over creek channel bend and near spawning banks or slow reeling in larger sized glide baits over mainlake and secondary points near the mouths of major spawning flats like No Name, Dale, and Chaney Creeks. Keep your boat in 10-15' of water but be fishing withing 200 yards of some good spawning coves. The best weather for these lures down south is cloudy with some wind. In this Lake Fork Patterns Video I discuss a very productive way to fish a Senko for those with patience in the heavily pressured waters of Lake Fork. Stay safe on the water and thanks for watching!

On average, your heart beats 100,000 times a day. One day, one of those heartbeats will be your last. Then what?

Thank you for the comments everyone. One thing I forgot to mention in this video is that one of the best ways to catch the highly pressured bedded bass on Lake Fork is to first find a bedded bass (which is much easier on sunny/calm days) then pass by the fish but remember exactly where that fish was sitting at. I will sometimes even toss a marker bouy out on the bank or nearby so I know exactly where the bedded fish is located at. I will then put a 1-3/32 oz nail weight into the tail end of a 4" Senko and cast the bait directly onto where the bedded bass was sitting from a distance of at least 35'. Make repeated casts until you know that your Senko landed within inches of where the bass was sitting. Once you make that accurate cast just let the bait sit, then be ready as whenever the bass cannot see the boat they are quite likely to swim off with your 4" Senko within the first 1-2 minutes. Try this next time you find a nice sized bedded bass and hold on. Often times you will get bit by a larger sized female bass which you did not see hanging with the male posted up on the bed. I hope this helps some of you on those hard to get bit days.
