Have not posted in awhile, We are still consistently catching fish just on again off again for any quantity.

Had some friends out yesterday afternoon and did well on the crappie. Lost count 60 something. 15' deep in 40' of water seems to always produce for us. Most of these fish came from there but I did snag a few big males off some of their beds. If I were a little faster I could catch more bedded fish but they can suck it in and spit it out faster than my brain works!! A lot of fun though.

My wife also had some luck with the gar and her bow. This is the largest yesterday it is in the 20's.

Awesome!! as hard as those Gars shells are, I image you have to hit them just right to get penetration. Those gars are lightning fast .

She's deadly with that bow.

Yes she is, wears deer and hogs out too!,



And they are no fun to clean either, but they actually taste pretty good. Reminds me of alligator.
