Who has them and where are Lavon maps available? I�ve never fished Lavon and need a map that shows ramps, marinas, etc. also where are good places to bank fish Lavon?

Regarding paper maps, both AID Lake Maps and FIshing Hot Spots have Lake Lavon maps. I typically prefer the Fishing Hot Spots maps but either one of them would have the information you need. The other major paper map maker is Hook-n-Line but I am not sure if they have a Lavon map or not.

Academy used to carry paper maps but I think they have discontinued them. The Cabela's in Allen has a ton of maps but they are basically all for lakes in other parts of the state. Last time I was there the nearest lake to DFW that they had a map for was Stillhouse Hollow. I guess the person who orders the maps for the Allen store is the same person who ensures they always have a full supply of tuna and billfish lures on the shelves. I hear the wahoo bite is really picking up on Lake Lewisville.

I think I used to get mine from Walmart, you might want to check the one in Wylie or west of Farmersville on 380. As for band fishing you might want to try the south side of the peninsula at the end at Little Ridge.
