Ware was this flow during the trout stocking season? Yep! Side Note: The flow was between 800 to 1000 plus CPS the whole trout stocking season!

This was my 1st season fishing for trout below the dam and limited out twice (but took a while), saw several limits each time. So with a lower flow I would assume they are easier to catch?

Texdan: You did great getting a limit on the Guadalupe this stocking season. This by far was the fastest river flow I have fished in. As already been stated the river flow was between 800 to 1000 plus CPS. The ideal flow would be between 350 to 450 CPS. I have caught plenty of fish in fast current but catch much more in the slower current. Hopefully there will be no MAJOR FLOODING this year and a descent let out of water at the Canyon Trail Race this upcoming season.

I fished the trail race a lot this past stocking season and was only able to limit out three times. The season before I limited out every time I fished there. The let out at Canyon Dam this past season was brutal to say the least. Any one getting a limit at the trail race this last season did very very good!
