Motor is a 96 150 efi. Compression is 120 on all 6 cyl.
Took the boat out about 2 or 3 weeks ago and never had a problem. Yesterday I get to the ramp and the motor would crank but wouldnt turn over. I checked the kill switch. I checked to make sure I was in neutral. I squeezed the primer bulb and just couldnt get it to fire up. My guess would be a fuel issue but I'm just not sure. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

Common place for a short is the trim wires in or close to the control handle.

unplug wiring harness from motor and put fuse in if blows, check around motor if don't probably trim wires in control box. You can unplug trim wires from boat side also to be able to check.

Did you isolate systems as boatmam suggested above? What were results?

That looks like fuse holder that comes on new mercury voltage regulators. It is on battery wire
