I was at a boat ramp on Palestine yesterday afternoon. Several people were coming in and cleaning crappie. They had all been caught shallow.

They have to be, might be starting to move out. They are shallow and in the creeks on fork.

You can catch them just about anywhere from 13' to 13" of water right now. We we're catching the super shallow in early February and I caught a good mess off some 13' brush Piles last week. I would just go out there and poke around until I found some that wanted to bite. Good luck.
