Just got back from the Sowbug. Some really talented tiers there. The first photo is Joe Jackson out of Indiana who specializes in deer Hair sculptures. This young man can stack and pack deer hair with the best of them. Check out his birds.

The next guy should need no introduction.

The last photo is a deer hair bass sculpture by Mike George(one of the best if not the best deer hair tier in the world) bought by Ted Warren and it will be at Teds World Championship Bass on the Fly at Lake Fork on May 25.

If you appreciate the art of fly tying you owe it to yourself to make it to the Sowbug Roundup.
