Sorry to hear about the loses but, your daughter is with you and a fly rod in hand. I'd say your well ahead. Wish you guys could have caught something though. Oh well.

Good times still! And butch is right that place will destroy gear(rods,bones,wrist,ankles) you name it. Wish y�all could have gotten into some trout They may all be in Lake Granbury though with the flow this year!

It is indeed a tough place to access. I petitioned the BRA to put a staircase down to the river at the dam (like the Texoma dam) and they told me to butt a stump. I fished there last year, at 63, and plan to again this year. If I break a bone, I'm blaming the BRA.
