There is still a David Beard's Catfish place near the bridge on the north end for some good fried catfish and shrimp.

If you decide to stay down south, The cuts @johnson, @Alee Are good cuts to work but they could be slow that time of year post spawn..Brushy Creek holds fish in May...But the majority is right..From pinetree up to 155 bridge all good, the timber is pervasive up there, but so is good fishing..The old railroad is a good, as is the mouth of camp Joy and the point around the pump station..This is old info as I havent been on the lake in a while..All will hold though in May and the fish will be be post and eating!! DONT know if you going with smelly fisherman or the wife but for smelly fisherman the bird ladies haydite lodges were okay there on the northside Of 155..Cant remember the name..I knew somebody that won a tourney in that five slot Marina..Lolol..Good luck..Love me some LOP!!
