I need some Garmin advice/help. I have the Garmin 93sv Plus with the Panoptix GLS 10 and LVS 32 black box and transducer. I also have the UHD GVC 20 with the GT34UHD transducer. SO, here�s the question. The UHD system apparently only does the Clearvu and Sidevu and no traditional sonar. The LVS 32 will do sonar, but it looks like [censored]. Do I need to have the GT52 transducer installed as well for my traditional sonar? 3 transducers seems a but much. HELP!

I have the simlar configuration + my original HDS Lowrance's Totalscan. Yep, there are sure alot of stuff hanging off the side of the boat. I ended up mounting the GT52 on the trolling motor, the GT34 on the transom (alongside the Totalscan), and the livescope on its separate mount. I spend 95% of the time on the Livescope screen, so it's probably not required to have the trolling motor GT52, but since I bought it, I use it.

I actually use my sonar quite a bit (on the HDS). So if you don't have one, it's good to have the GT52 mounted for that purpose.
