I need some Garmin advice/help. I have the Garmin 93sv Plus with the Panoptix GLS 10 and LVS 32 black box and transducer. I also have the UHD GVC 20 with the GT34UHD transducer. SO, here’s the question. The UHD system apparently only does the Clearvu and Sidevu and no traditional sonar. The LVS 32 will do sonar, but it looks like [censored]. Do I need to have the GT52 transducer installed as well for my traditional sonar? 3 transducers seems a but much. HELP!

Hi, I have the simlar configuration + my original HDS Lowrance's Totalscan. Yep, there are sure alot of stuff hanging off the side of the boat. I ended up mounting the GT52 on the trolling motor, the GT34 on the transom (alongside the Totalscan), and the livescope on its separate mount. I spend 95% of the time on the Livescope screen, so it's probably not required to have the trolling motor GT52, but since I bought it, I use it.
I actually use my sonar quite a bit (on the HDS). So if you don't have one, it's good to have the GT52 mounted for that purpose. Hope that helps. Tim

You might consider the GT22H-W it’s cheaper unless you want Sidescan
