If some of you have a boat house or a dock on a lake. Might google this light & see if it would work for you.
Comes in 110volt or 12 volt.
They have free shipping right now & a 15% discount going on.
Code for discount is "Spring19".
I'm not affiliated with them just thought I would pass it along.

An underwater MH light is 1000 times better.

That light knocks bugs in the water, great if your wanting to catch bream. The underwater metal halide light attracts plankton and phytoplankton, which attracts minnows and shad, which attracts all the other fish.

I love my light from the Bo-Jo place. I replace the bulbs with different colors from time to time for variety, and the fish keep coming to my dock. Sometime I want to try LED bulbs for even greater energy efficiency than the flourescent bulbs I use now.
It is true that the lights cost more now than when I got mine, but I have been pleased with the owner's service after the sale with me. After a boat ran into my light last year, replacement parts were inexpensive and readily available.

I did buy this & installed it 3 days ago.
It does get most every bug that comes to it and we have a ton of bugs. So the immediate change is you can sit on the boathouse at night without any bugs bothering you. There are a lot of bugs in the water.
Light should be bright enough to attract Threadfin Shad and that is the goal. If you can attract Shad & hold them , eventually the fish will come.
