The good......
Learned more about fishing in 8 hours with James than all 6 bass fishing guide trips I have been on.
What I got from the 2 hours of classroom time was worth the price of admission.
The lake time was purely a bonus.
The bad.....
I truly hate that I didnt do this sooner.

This is what I like about Mr. Biggs and only have good things to share. He is a fisherman just like you and I. He makes it his job; so he works hard at what he does best. He helps to provide those that don't have the time and or the knowledge to break a lake down and find the Bass. He has the ability to provide that information in two ways and you get to pick which you like or need the most.
He can be your guide and take you fishing. This shows you during the progression of the day what and where the fish are holding on in specific areas. You will learn to fish to your strengths and how to find those fish in the lake you have chosen. You will always come away with a new technique; one that you new existed, but just did not have the confidence to make it work. By the end of the day you will understand why it is important to be well rounded; so you have lots of options.
On the other side of this coin, James is a Teacher. You get to choose the subject ahead of time. He will be as prepared as any classroom professor. He does his research to provide you the knowledge and hands on instruction that you are seeking. Good Teachers understands what people need to be successful. A good teacher will help you set the goals to accomplish that end result. Fishing is a subject that many have trouble understanding; because we cannot see what is underwater to provide that end result of catching fish. James can make that happen in so many different ways. You can pick your strengths and he will teach you how to make them better. You can pick your weaknesses and he will give you the assignments and hands on instruction so you understand how to be successful in using that technique or that piece of equipment. The Depth Finder is our eyes for seeing under water. This is the first class that I would consider as a fisherman looking for help. I commend Mr. Biggs for his hard work and ability to share that knowledge he has learned over the years. The good thing is he is not at the end of the line; like I am. He has just begun and has many years ahead of him, to hone those skills that we all are seeking.
Thanks for sharing your passion. Donald

How do I go about booking a session with Mr. Biggs? Are there scheduled "classroom" times or just on an individual basis?
Thank you.

It was a lake I have personally never fished before, and I was completely lost on what to look for and what techniques to go into the day with. But this is exactly why I fished with Biggs. I was able to see how he adjusted to the conditions, learn what he was doing and why he was doing it, and he simply broke down spring fishing into a simple and undertandable way. We put a good bag together, and I was able to learn a multitude of info that I can not only use on Lew, but any lake during the spring time. Also, we never had an issue getting great convos in and a bunch of laughs. 10/10 recommend!
