They are awesome rods and you can get them for half of MSRP on the trading post. As with anything, you get what you pay for. Forget about the E6X tho, its a disappointment compared to the rest.

Never heard of the Next series, if you are making reference to the NRX it's the best rod I have ever used and now own a couple of them.

Yes NRX is what I refer to. I was just curious if someone else makes a super light rod that fishes as good as the nrx without costing 500+

I have never heard anyone claim an NRX was not worth the cost, I imagine holding one is similar to holding Kate Upton by the way people talk about them. But, I can tell you that I had a number of GLX, that we're great and no complaints at all, that I sold and bought newer Kistler Helium's with the money. I love Kistler rods, and they have great customer service. I haven't tried a z-bone yet but I might be getting one soon, that is the one I would image is more similar to the NRX in the Kistler line up.

I'm a GLX fan over the NRX personally, got a buddy who runs 100% Loomis and GLX is the go to for sure

TFO, Temple Fork Outfitters. Check em out. I have rarely used it but they have a product guarantee that they fix or replace for any reason for a small fee. Sensitivity is good, power is good nice balance also. They run about 1/2 the price of a Loomis. Based in Dallas. They work for me! https://tforods.com/
My wife is always mad at me, so I figured I might as well give her a reason.....I bought a boat.

Used to be a HUGE FAN of TFO... I got their top of the line. But I'll never pay another cent to them... Lied about "free replacement" charged me for replacement said it was all shipping... I lived 2 hours from them.
Finally paid it to get my rod up and going... Then they HOUNDED ME for 6th months with repeated letters and calls claiming I had not paid... They are lieing crooks who are selling cheap Chinese blanks at $150 a pop... I would go with bass pro carbon lights before going back to the
The rods are HEAVY as well and don't hold a candle to a falcon Cara's much less a loomis...
Hear GREAT things about thier fly rods... But thier bass rods no... Never again
I've switched to Powertackle...
I broke a Cara last year, falcon sent me replacement no charge and we're awesome about it... Tfo... Worthless

Love my Loomis IMX Rods for worming and jigging. After you decide what or which rods you want, check bassboatcentral.com to see if someone might be selling the rod you want for a good price. A good number of Loomis rods pop up on that site every now and then.
Toads for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
