No doubt the quickest route. 99 is a life saver around Houston!! Everything on your bass boat is broken......You just don't know it yet.

Sure accidents can happen, and I'm sure you prolly hit some slowdown. I'd go 59S to 610W to I-10W. But that's me, I'll drive my 100k rig the cheapest way I can. More like $12 assuming a tandem axle trailer. I ran the same stretch of 99 on the way to Junction and back around the first of the year pulling a tandem axle 16ft trailer. I just went to my account checked, the total cost for both directions was $24.07. Well worth it to me.

Just went on the TXtag website and added all tolls from I-10 to 59 to confirm what I thought I didn't want to pay on the same route hauling my boat. It costs $17+ to drive my truck from my house in Porter off of 59 to I-10, which I have done many times to avoid Houston.
