 Overheat warning 250 hpdi

The overheat warning is flashing according to the owners manual it's overheating and should not go over 2000 rpm, cracks and runs fine, but starts flashing soon as u crack up the engine seconds after no way to overheat, I know there is 2 sensors in each head is there a sending unit for the digital gauge ??
