Not putting much gas in the boat....don't need to if there are 200+ HS catching fish....Just go to the mouth of the Marina....LOL...don't have to be in HS to do that math...

HS kids were thick last weekend pre-fishing. Sad thing is, is it is fun to help people catch fish on a lake I live on and love but I am suspect of every one of these "hey it is my first time to the lake " posts. I think most are boat captains trying to dig up info for HS teams.

I think most are boat captains trying to dig up info for HS teams. Those are BS 100% of the time. It is why I've quit posting anything of value.

You wouldn't believe how many people that have seen you post nice fish from Ray Bob on Facebook contact you a couple days before their tournament. And my names not even Barret.

Head into the back of the IDB arm, might take you a while to idle since your new and don't know how to run it but could be worth it.

Anyone getting Bit up north around Buck Creek?
I was thinking most of the traffic this weekend will be South- away from the Timber... Souther half of the lake (South of the Big Island)...
I could be wrong but I was going to sty to stick to the hairiest areas in an attempt to avoid all the traffic-With 200 Boats I'm probably in screwed either way

I flew over the lake on Sunday and noticed the West Arm (Trinity River side) appeared to be clearer than the East (Isle Dubois) Arm. That is normally not the case.

Yes big one for the HS guys... saw lots of boats out there today, not a lot being caught. Looks like the lake level has dropped since the other day?
