Bought the new elite ti2 because it will connect with the motorguide and for better sidescan. what are the thoughts on this unit.

I am learning more about the garmin but I still can’t pinpoint with sides can.

Thoughts before I open the elite ti2 and the motorguide gateway.

Also there is a $50 rebate on the gateway right now!

The Elite Ti2 if purchased with the new Active Imaging is going to give you very good downscan and excellent side-scan in 800KHZ. I am biased, but you made the right decision with Ti2 as that unit and the new LIVE units are the latest in technology. If you ever purchase a second Ti2 unit, they will be able to communicate wirelessly.
