Well for the absolute world class fishing it�s later than normal. We have been plucking them off for a long time but not real crazy like peak. The fish have been every where I have looked and thick in places yet a bit lethargic. It is very frustrating stripping right through a school in the thousands and only picking up a fish every 5 to 10 cast. Today was finally that day you could do no wrong. I may catch as many sandbass if not more than anyone yet I don�t eat them. My buddy was just about out of fish though and his grandkids love them. I nitpicked and culled through them and tied his fish from me off in short order. In the last hour and a half not sure there were five cast without a fish. In the words of Mateo world class!!! Also the fattest carp I�ve ever caught far from the biggest but fattest by far lol. As well as I little hybrid action. Tight lines!!!

I went to "visit your mom" this morning. Everything was perfect. Water temp 58 degrees, pressure 30.02, water clear and flowing good, little frogs hopping off the bank, schools of baitfish in the shallows - not a strike.

Don�t know why it didn�t blow them up but this is a little better. Thanks banker as always! Capt. Yes little warmer down here but the air pressure has had them jacked up last two days!!! Wish it was muddy seeing thousands of fish and watching the fly hit there nose and not eating is a beating. Luckily I had to work all day today and tomorrow LOL. But this system coming in... if we can get a little rain and it won�t matter what the pressure is for at least a month they�re going to eat! Also Capt. I�ve never in my life seen a common that size that fat. Really glad she didn�t get picked off by the bow �special needs folks� that took a glory shot with a pile of buffs.honestly wouldn�t bother me one bit at all. IF they took every one of them home put them in the smoker or pressure cooker and ate them lol. Headed that way now keeping my fingers crossed for rain.

I keep going sandy fishing on high pressure days and getting skunked lol, but I'm probably going striper fishing Sunday.

Yes the air pressure has jacked with them more this year than any in recent memory. Carp definitely on the clouser they tend to really attack this time of year.

Nice catches man! I had 2 of those days this last week. They were everywhere too and could only get a fish to bite every 15 casts (working a spinning reel though I did cheat a clouser for a bit too). Mostly smaller ones were the ones biting on top of it. That�s rare for me. Weird, really. Those are usually the days I piss people off around me by catching when they�re not.
