Ordered something from ebay. Seller used FedEx. I live in an apartment complex. They said it was delivered. But can't tell me where. Was in the phone with them over 2 hours on Friday. Got a case # and as soon as they heard back from the driver(contract) they would call me back that day. Nope. Monday, no call. Called back. No listing of my case #. Had to refile. WHAT A LOAD CRAPOLA.
Contacted the seller. They they said "Very sorry, but again we have no control of the other end of the delivery process.". I replied,I'm the buyer, You're the seller. You determined how it was shipped. I didn't. YOU choose FedEx. I didn't. Please get with FedEx on where my package is. If not please send me my items or refund my money.

Hopefully something will happen soon.

BTW total was a little over $206

Its been my experience with eBay sellers that they dont show a lot of flexibility when it comes to resolving problems unless they were overtly in the wrong

FedEx is the one responsible for this and thats who I would go after

I've stopped using Fedex on Ebay because of the difficulty in getting proof of delivery. If they hand the parcel off to USPS for final delivery, both companies blame each other for mishandling.

Son lives in an apartment near downtown Houston. When he mail orders something expensive he has it sent to me in FloMo then whenever we see each other the handoff takes place. Mail order delivery and apartment complexes are not a good combination, except for the thief.

You can now have UPS and FedEx deliver to a post office. Rent the smallest box at the PO and you simply give the PO physical address and the number of your PO box and its delivered there.

Just got off phone again with FedEx. Doesn't sound like they are going to do much. Turned it around on the Seller. So looks like I'll be calling my credit card company.

If anyone has a hookup on lug nut covers for a 2017Silverado let me know. Damn thieves.

No Kidding! If it's a handoff from anyone to USPS you can never track it. I had a bag of 1000 30 cal. rifle cleaning patches that went missing. Called the vendor (not ebay) and they sent me another shipment which i received in timely manner. They told me of the others showed up just to keep them. So about 90 days later, here comes that other bag of patches. Don't know where it went or sat for those 90 days and one else seems to either. I doubt seriously if Ebay sellers willing to do that.
I was thinking that was a UPS to USPS handoff but not sure about that part. All I know is when there is no way to track it can be a royal cluster.

The seller needs to step up. You are not FedEx's customer in this case - the seller is the customer. FedEx won't accept a claim from you, it has to be made by the shipper. For some reason a lot of ebay sellers don't understand how that works.

I have done this since it started at the Alba Tx P.O. Works great, have had zero problems.

What if the package was delivered to the correct address and was then stolen? The OP lives in an apartment complex which are notorious for having packages stolen

If i was the seller i wouldnt even entertain refunding or sending another item. It was sent with fed ex, not some rinky dink courier.
