just wanna see if anybody has been on spence lately and knows they water temps and dont wanna hear about the "fish kill"

I was on the lake Saturday and Sunday. Most of the lake was 51�,with some places in the 56-57� range.

Fish Kill or no fish kill, the lake is fishing as terrible or worse than Ivie. With all the new water, what few fish there was, are now so displaced it�s like trying to find a needle in a haystack. There was only one limit caught last weekend during media for a whopping 12 pounds and some change (on Ivie) and more zeros than fish catches on Spence.
Taking 5 to the weigh-in occurs when opportunity meets successful execution of one's preparation.

Last time I went to Spence was last September right after the first round of rain that brought the lake up 5-6' and did pretty good. Haven't been back since but I'm sure just like Ivie and Buttes, all the new water definitely has them spread out. Same amount of fish and 15x the water definitely makes it challenging.

Hopefully they keep getting displaced this Spring till the lakes reach full pool....
Would love to see Ivie full again.
It's only a good cast if you catch a fish...
