So fishing Fork on Friday and using Ultrex to get to open spot leaving a creek in Bell and hit a stump square on. I watched in slow motion as the trolling motor is bending under the boat and then "Pow" and a small cloud of smoke from the fiberglass shattering. I thought I had ruined the rest of the weekend and possibly the boat owners chance of fishing a tournament next week. He called Whitt Smith one of the Lake Fork Guides and he recommended we call Sartin marine. Brian told us to bring it on in. It broke at 2:05 and at 3:30 we were back on the lake with a loaner shaft and motor. I was in such awe of the customer service that I had to share in case someone else might have a similar issue in the future. Brian told me to clarify he only has one loaner so he can not always do what he did for us but when it is there he will. Did not catch anything Friday or Saturday but at least I did not take my friends boat out of commission for a week or more. He is taking it back in on Friday to get his motor and new shaft put back on.

Bryan is the man. When I have a problem he's the first one I call.

He saved day couple years ago when I tore up a fortex about 9 am on practice day for that high school deal they have in summer. He had us back on water by noon. Really good guys.

I have the same experience... Shaft broke on a Friday nigh when I had reserved a room until Sunday... I called him early Saturday morning and he had me up and going by 10am that day.

He didn't have a Shaft instock since he had used his last one just before I arrived...

He went out of his way to teardown another TM and put me a loaner Shaft in...

They have my business for life and I try to pass anyone I know

They also fixed an Intermittent Motor issue my buddy had that another local dealer attempted to fix multiple times and couldn't

Need more Hometown Shops like SARTIN MARINE!

PS> Those Chargers they have sure do look nice!

Simon Peter said to them "I am going fishing" They said "We are going fishing also."

Bryan has done the same for me in the past with an Ultrex. Actually everyone up there always tries as hard as they can to get folks back on the water, its pretty dang impressive actually.

That's great service. glad you posted about it. Just out of curiosity, how fast was the boat going to break the shaft? I have heard of numerous Ultrexes breaking the shafts. I have owned terrovas and now an Ultrex and I thought the shafts were the same material but never broke one. Just curious how much force that took.

Its just not TM shafts. Lost a coil pack one afternoon and they had me a new one on in less than 30 minutes.

Went out and had a great rest of the day!

They are great at what they do!

Was running on 6 but not up to speed because I had just made a hard turn to avoid three other stump just below surface. I have hit them going faster and it just spun around it. This one stopped the boat.

Well I did not have as good of luck with them that the rest of you have. I took my boat in to them for a motor issue and they had the boat longer than they estimated and when I tested it out it did the same thing I took it in for so I had to leave it for another week. I left them my cover for it and when I went to finally get the boat it was uncovered, and full of crickets. The cover was lying on the front deck. I will never ever go back to them even if they were the only ones out there.
