Hello TFF Bass Fisherman! Right now Lake Fork is fishing better since we have had a few warmer days and will continue to have some sunny warmer weather soon which should stabilize the water temperatures into the high 50s and make the fish even more active as they will move up onto the spawning flats to feed up for the spawn. With the water temperatures currently in the mid 50's on much of the lake I recommend slowly dragging a 3/8 ounce jig or throwing a medium diving flat-sided crankbait in 6-12' creek channels and drains on shallow flats or other north wind protected pockets. I recommend focusing on the back 1/2 of the creeks on the northern 1/2 of Lake Fork. Once the water warms into the high 50s you can expect to start catching bass on a variety of baits in 3 to 6 feet. I prefer to stick with either a chatterbait, squarebill crankbait or a lipless crankbait anywhere that I find grass. Look for Coots on the water, the groups of small black birds as they relate to grass. You are most certain to be around some submerged grass growth which will attract many bass over the next couple months. Watch the video below to see some predominant pre-spawn patterns and fishing locations in Glade Creek. Thanks for watching and be safe on the water.
Respectfully,
Stephen Fatherree

Good detailed information. Just blow away about the 10xd commit. I would only be able to make one cast in the back half of Glade, and that dude would be gone! lol

There will be a boat show in there Saturday morning if you'd like to show your boat. Admission is free but parking spots will be limited so get there early.

When was this 10 years ago?? I don't remember Glade looking like that last time i was there. Per his comments, " See Lake Fork photos taken during 6' low water conditions, good fishing prespawn tips and lures showing you where to go catch largemouth bass." I think Stephen had to take some time from off from guiding for family and/or health reasons. Good to see Stephen posting videos again.
