I just purchased an RV and my family is really wanting to go camping in the next week during Spring Break. Is there anywhere we can walk in and catch crappie, or white bass, near or in, a State Park, since I can't pull both the boat and RV? It doesn't have to be a State Park, really just a RV campground. If you don't want to post your secret spot, please send me a PM.

Colorado Bend State Park should be just the ticket. Great white bass, crappie,, and catfish fishing in Marchand April. Just make sure to make online reservations before you go, this is their busy season.

I just checked and it appears that the only camping at Colorado Bend are primitive campsites, nothing for RV camping. Am I missing the RV camping sites?

Ive never camped there, but I have seen RV campers at their campsites. And just to verify, I checked the satellite view on google maps, and you can clearly see several RVs at their camping sites.

Are RVs are allowed, without water or electricity hookups? When I checked, there was only one opening, and it was a hike in campsite. Has anyone been there that can clarify this?

RVs are allowed but no hookups. Limited spots and probably booked up thru the end of the month or longer.

Probably a bit late for you but check out Purtis Creek State Park near Athens. Fishing pier by the campground.
