This surprises me.. we fished there Thursday and Saturday and thought the fishing was pretty good. We had 17 lbs on Thursday and 15-16 lbs on Saturday with 30 keepers. Big fish for Rayburn was 7 lbs, she was in 14 of water. Fish were not easy to get to, had to scratch up the boat a little and get in behind that brush line in 8-9 ft of water. It was like off-roading in a boat... put the trolling motor on 70 and plow through the buck brush!

When you only get 4 hrs and its all after 12:00pm doesnt leave much time. Our bite shut off around 1:45 like a switch

Yup the early bite was on. We missed that by a lot. Saturday was definitely better I bet too.

Was complete opposite during our days out there... morning bite was awful, about noon till 4pm was ON. Saturday was as much fun as I've had on Rayburn, with the Basschamps moving their tournament and the off limits being extended another day we only saw 4 - 5 other boats on the water.

The guys I know said sat was really good but sun the bite didnt turn on till the fog lifted. Seemed like a little later where we were they pushed up REALLY shallow once that water warmed. Even saw a few on beds
