If the report on another Thread is correct you shouldn't have anything to worry about, because thirty rounds from a AR type rifle and they didn't hit anything but water.

But seriously, stay on our side of the pond and you'll be safe....

I just got back from a two week trip to the border. One week at Falcon and one week at Amistad. Had no issues either place. Caught more fish at Amistad.

I loved Falcon. We caught a few nice ones, was fall. Perfect time, topwater (I throw big baits) etc..

Would not fish the Mexican side, no need to.

Local guides born/raised there warned us to not go out on the lake after dark.

Thats just common sense.

I've heard the stories. I also know there are places I wouldn't go after dark in any major city in Texas. Common sense.
