If the report on another Thread is correct you shouldn't have anything to worry about, because thirty rounds from a AR type rifle and they didn't hit anything but water.
But seriously, stay on our side of the pond and you'll be safe....

I just got back from a two week trip to the border. One week at Falcon and one week at Amistad. Had no issues either place. Caught more fish at Amistad.

I just got back from a two week trip to the border. One week at Falcon and one week at Amistad. Had no issues either place. Caught more fish at Amistad. Cool. Pics? I loved Falcon. We caught a few nice ones, was fall. Perfect time, topwater (I throw big baits) etc.. Would not fish the Mexican side, no need to.

4) If you must go, simply stay on the Texas side and dont fish after dark. This+ Local guides born/raised there warned us to not go out on the lake after dark. Thats just common sense.

I've heard the stories. I also know there are places I wouldn't go after dark in any major city in Texas. Common sense.
