MY 2013 MODEL HDS GEN 2 TOUCH 12 INCH, GRAPH.SIDE SCAN,DOWN IMAGING NOT WORKING????? CAN ANYONE HELP... CALLED LOWRANCE & THEY SAY NO PARTS & UNIT TOO OLD,,,,, REALLY,,,,,,, NOT HAPPY WITH LOWRANCE...

It's not coming on at all or just the structure scan isnt working? If it's just structure scan try a different transducer or hook to a buddy's boat to see if it works then.

DONE ALL THAT TRADED WITY MY 7 &9 INCH, EVERY THING WORKS, THE 12 WONT READ GRAPH SIDE SCAN OR DOWN SCAN...

Did you put the 12 where the 7 or 9" goes or just put those where the 12" goes? Go thru your settings to and make sure it's all set right then if all that doesnt work try to do a soft reset. I cant remember the buttons for a soft reset but you can look it up either on BBC boards or probably YouTube

... HB will service the older units as long as they have parts. I checked with HB earlier in the year and they said they are still providing service for the Legacy 1100 series. Mine was made in 2011. There is nothing wrong with the Lowrance products, they make very nice equipment. But I have always heard the Lowrance service was not so good. That's why I run HB units.

I had a Gen 2 that would loose bottom on downscan in super shallow water and would not display when it did. The screen displayed but always showed 5 fow and was black. However I could correct by restoring factory defaults. Try that before hard reset. Also make sure all updates loaded. Btw there is a GPS patch for the Gen 2 s. I was having time issues on my old Gen 2 until I loaded that.
