Does anyone know if Minn Kota or any other 3rd party makes a protective head cover for these new trolling motors.
Thinking some sort of padded neoprene slip-on would be a good investment against minor rash.

I don�t think you will find anything like that due to heat. Water helps cool the motor and anything you add to it would counteract that effect and burn it out sooner.

Chipped paint does not hurt the performance. Just gives it character. Insulating and not allowing heat to disapate through the motor housing into the water? Really bad idea. Your motor will still look nice when burns out prematurely though!

I've never seen one. I'm sure an upholstery or custom tarp shop could build one for a phenomenal fee.
